Crunchyroll To Bring One Piece Film Red to North America And More In November

Crunchyroll has been on a roll with bringing anime films to theaters. With the success of Demon Slayer The Mugen Train, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, Dragon Ball Super (both Broly and Super Hero), and an upcoming film coming in September, Mobile Suit Gundam: Cucuruz Doan’s Island.

One Piece Film Red has officially become 2022’s No. 1 Film in Japan, but soon it will be coming to the United States. Today, Crunchyroll announced that the newest One Piece Film will be coming to the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand this November.

Tickers for Australia and New Zealand will go on sale on October 5th, with North American tickets going on sale starting October 6th. The release dates for each region are as follows:

  • Australia and New Zealand: November 3rd
  • United States and Canada: November 4th

Crunchyroll and Toei Animation will host a subtitled and dubbed viewing of the film in the United States and Australia. Fans in Australia will be able to see the new One Piece film at Crunchyroll Expo Australia on Friday, September 16th. Meanwhile, for fans in the United States premiere will happen in New York on Thursday, October 6th, which will coincide with New York City Comic-Con.
