This fall is already proving to be a War-Themed season with My Hero Academia preparing for an all-out-war, and now it’s Bleach’s turn with Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
It was the event showcasing the first two episodes, and the official website has revealed that the new series will premiere on October 10th in Japan. Oricon also reports that it’ll be a four-season run, though not consecutively.
According to Crunchyroll, Tatsuya Kitani will be performing the opening theme song “Scar” while Hiroyuki Sawano-produced singer SennaRin will be performing the ending theme song “Saihatte (The Furtherest End),” which is set to get an advanced release on October 18th.

- KENN– Berenice Gabrielli
- Takahiro Fujiwara– Jerome Guizbatt
- Wataru Komada– Asguiaro Ebern
- Daiki Hamano– Luders Friegen
Directing Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will be Tomohisa Taguchi at Studio Pierrot, with Taguchi also writing the series composition, Masashi Kudo returning to design the characters, and Shiro Sagisu returning to do the music.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War begins on TV Tokyo on October 10 at 24:00, which is effectively 12 AM on October 11, with Viz Media confirming that the series will stream the same day. No comment on where it where else it will be streaming.
