Prepare the Cream Puffs! Chiaki Kobayashi will voice Mashle in MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES!
I’ve started with one of the biggest announcements of the Online Festival. During a panel at July’s Anime Expo, Hajime Kōmoto’s MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES had an English Subtitled trailer shown, and fans were instantly excited. Last night, there was more information released, a special PV, and a list of the main staff. Also, Voice Actor Chiaki Kobayashi will be voicing the lead role, Mashle Burnedead. After Ten Years, Ichigo and the gang are coming back in October. To get fans ready for the upcoming Four-Season series, a short, fun trailer. Showing a lighter side to Tite Kubo’s Bleach Series.
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc – Memorial Edition gets a New Trailer and a Special Video Message
This fall will have the premiere of Berserk: The Golden Age Arc- Memorial Edition coming to televisions in Japan and on Crunchyroll. A special video was shared along with a new PV for the upcoming Memorial, comedian Kendo Kobayashi will be joining the series as Bazuso. The new film will premiere in October. Ayakashi Triangle Releases A New Teaser Visual and Cast List
There is new information on the upcoming series based on Kentaro Yabuki’s Supernatural Ecchi-themed manga, Ayakashi Triangle. It released a new teaser visual (above this paragraph) and the main cast list, which you can read the list on Crunchyroll. The anime will premiere in 2023.
Dreams Come True! Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai Gets A Sequel!
The dream continues for the rascal. It was confirmed that the popular anime based on the light novel series by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is getting a sequel anime based on two of the following books: Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid.
It has been confirmed that the staff and cast from the series and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl film are returning.
Take to the skies with Gen Urobuchi’s Eisen Flügel!
Another monumental announcement from Aniplex was an animated film adaption of Gen Urobuchi’s Novel, Eisen Flügel. It will be animated at Studio A-1, unfortunately, there isn’t a release date announced at this time. For more information, click here for further details.
NieR:Automata confirms its Version Number and January 2023 Premiere
One of the biggest video games will finally be coming to television screens in January 2023. NieR:Automata Ver1. 1a revealed two new character visuals, two new teaser trailers, and its version designation. Voice Actors Yui Ishikawa (2B) and Hatsuki Hanae (9S) join the main cast as the leading roles.
The Second Season for The Misfit of Demon King Academy picks up a New Trailer and Visual ahead of January Premiere
With all of the big-named titles taking the stage during the Online Fest, it was Shu and Yoshinori Shizuma’s The Misfit of Demon King Academy that made their presence known with new information on the upcoming series. The second season will be a split-cour broadcast and will premiere in January 2023.
Tomo-Chan Is a Girl! Gets a New Character Trailer and Additional Cast
Fumita Yanagida’s Tomo-Chan is a Girl picked up a new trailer that highlighted the newest characters and their voice actors. It will air on Crunchyroll the same day it airs in Japan in January 2023.
Rurouni Kenshin Reveals Cast, Staff, ahead of 2023 Premiere
There was new information on the newest anime project adapting Nobuhiro Watsuki’s Rurouni Kenshin. The Online Fest released new character visuals, a trailer, and a cast and staff list.
HIDIVE TO STREAM URUSEI YATSURA
Another memorable moment was the announcement regarding the new anime adaption of Rumiko Takahashi’s Urusei Yatsura. It will premiere on bilibili and HiDive on October 13th, and run for half a year, or two cours without breaks.
My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999! Gets a TV Anime Order
Mashiro’s Romantic Comedy, My Love Story with Yamada-Kun at Lvl 999! Has picked up an anime adaption from MADHOUSE, it will premiere in 2023.
Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- to premiere on December 31st
If you’re a fan of the Fate series, then you’re in luck. It was announced that Ryohgo Narita’s Fate/strange spin-off is inspiring an anime special. special will air on December 31 during the annual Fate Project New Year’s TV Special. The special will have simultaneous releases with English subtitles and dubbing overseen by Aniplex of America.
