Paramount Pictures recently streamed two new trailers for the upcoming sequel of Sonic the Hedgehog, The first trailer is titled “Big Game Spot” and will be featured on Sunday’s 2022 Super Bowl LVI. Paramount also released six new visuals to promote Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
Colleen O’Shaughnessey will be returning to the role of Sonic’s Best Friend and Sidekick, Miles “Tails” Prower. Also joining the gang will be Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna. Jeff Fowler will be directing once again, based on a script by Pat Casey & Josh Miller, and John Whittington, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 opens in U.S. cinemas on April 8th, 2022. The first film had the biggest opening weekend for a Video Game Movie in the United States and Canada, It grossed $319.7 million worldwide, becoming the sixth-highest-grossing film of 2020 and the highest-grossing video game film adaptation of all time in North America.
