The Incredibles 3
Pixar chief content officer Pete Docter discussed PIXAR’s 40th Anniversary, and revealed new information on the third Incredibles movie: “With Incredibles 3, it’s the kids’ turn to take the stage. Violet and Dash are determined to stand on their own and prove they are ready to be real Supers. They have been sneaking out at night to protect the city. They are struggling to contain Jack Jack, whose powers make it even more unpredeictable and dangerous. A new threat is taking a toll on Bob, who is struggling with his relevance in a world of Supers who have outgrown him. Not all Supers are good. In Incredibles 3 the family will face off against a [new] supervillain.” Incredibles 3 will debut in theaters in June 2028.
The New Simpsons Movie
We got a first-hand look at the upcoming Simpsons movie titled The New Simpsons Movie, and it was full of hilarious hijinks! Where Homer is trying to catch a home run at a baseball game where chaos ensue as he chases the ball through the entire stadium, out into the streets as a horde of fans are behind him trying to catch it. They chase it into the Bowlarama and then into an operating room. The movie is set to debut in theaters next year.
Coco 2
Miguel returns to the Land of the Dead in the upcoming sequel, Coco 2. Disney revealed new concept art from the film, which depicts a teenage Miguel alongside his beloved dog, Dante. The company also revealed that the Pixar sequel is set to hit theaters in November 2029 and that Benjamin Bratt will reprise the role of Ernesto de la Cruz. The first film debuted in theaters in November 2017, grossing over $800 million at the global box office and won two Oscars, for best animated feature and best original song with “Remember Me.” Coco is available now to stream on Disney +, Digital, Blu-ray, 4k, and DVD.
VisionQuest
Paul Bettany returns as Vision in the upcoming Disney+ series, VisionQuest. The show will see Vision appearing in both android and human forms alongside the return of James Spader’s Ultron. The ensemble cast also features Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, and Ruaridh Mollica as a grown-up Tommy Maximoff. VisionQuest premieres October 14 on Disney+.

Avengers: Doomsday
Capping off the D23 Entertainment Showcase coverage is Avengers: Doomsday. The presentation released a special trailer, which expands on the footage that was shown during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con Panel— the trailer dives deeper into Doctor Doom’s origin, showcasing Victor von Doom surveying his ruined home world, easily overpowering Thor, and summoning an army of Sentinels to face the MCU’s heroes. Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters December 18, 2026.
