Gridman Universe Prepares For Theatrical Debut With A New Trailer, Poster, And More


The Gridman Universe is almost here, and today, the Staff, Cast, and more were revealed in the big announcement. Our heroes once again prepare to save the world!

The newest trailer debuted a new theme song performed by Masayoshi Ōishi titled uni-verse. Also, a new addition to the cast was announced, and Daiki Hamano will be joining as Rex.

The film is set to debut in theaters on March 24th, it will be featuring both SSSS Gridman and SSSS Dynazenon Casts making their return. Another cast will include the following members:

  • Ryousuke Takahashi- Caliber
  • Katsuyuki KonishiMax
  • Aoi Yūki- Borr
  • Masaya Matsukaze- Vit
  • Mayumi Shintani- Rikka’s Mother
  • Kenichi Suzumara- Knight
  • Karin Takahashi- The 2nd
  • Suzuko Mimori- Namiko
  • Akari Kitō- Hassu

Akira Amemiya is returning to direct the film at Studio Trigger. Returning Staff Members include Keiichi Hasegawa (Scriptwriter), Marasu Sakamoto (Character Designer), and Shiro Sagisu (Composer). SSSS Gridman was the first series featured in the Gridman Universe, which debuted in October 2018. The Anime Series was a collaboration with Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions, the creator of the Tokusatsu Series, Ultraman, and the original 90s live-action series Denkō Chōjin Gridman.

SSSS Dynazenon was the second series in the lineup, debuting in April 2021. Another anime series collaborated by Studio Trigger and Tsuburaya Productions. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the anime as it premiered in Japan, with Funimation providing an English Dubbed Version. When Dynazenon ended in June 2021, a special teaser card titled Next Gridman Universe and Gridman x Dynazenon. The Compilation films for SSSS Gridman (Premiered in January, and screened for two weeks), and SSSS Dynazenon (Premiering on March 10th, Ahead of the Gridman Universe Premiere) will also screen for two weeks.
