I have mentioned this previously in my Shin Ultraman Articles. It is a great time in Japanese Pop Culture and Animation. Crunchyroll has brought Demon Lord Rimuru Tempest and the Jura Tempest Federation to the Silver Screen in That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: Scarlet Bond for its North American Box Office Debut, and it has debuted in the Top Ten.
The Newest Numbers are in, and the first slime film earned $1,459,515 during the weekend. According to Box Office Mojo, it made its debut in 1,473 theaters on Friday at No. 8, bringing in $451,958. Meanwhile, on Saturday and Sunday, it dropped to No. 10, bringing in $507,557 (Saturday) and $250,000 (Sunday).
Crunchyroll announced the release date for the film for Mexico. It is currently planned to debut on January 26th.

Since the Scarlet Bond’s debut, it has become the 13th Japanese Anime Film to reach the 1 Billion Yen Mark as of December 2022. The film is based on the successful Light Novel series by Fuse. You can watch both the animated series and the spin-off series titled The Slime Diaries on Crunchyroll.
