Detective Conan was first serialized in Shogakukan’s Shonen Manga Magazine titled Weekly Shonen Sunday in January 1994. As of September 2022, all chapters were collected into 102 Tankobon Volumes. Due to legal problems with the name Detective Conan, Funimation and Viz Media had to rename it Cased Closed. Volume 85 is available for English Audiences in print and digitally.

Since the manga’s launch, it received an anime adaptation in 1996, and the series is still ongoing, which includes an anime film series. The Twenty-Sixth film titled Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine (Iron Submarine) will premiere in Japan on April 14th.
