News Roundup: Chainsaw Man Anime Edition


Today was a big day for fans of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man Manga series. The TV Anime Series is set to debut next month, and the dubbed first episode is set to premiere at New York Comic-Con. Let’s see what was announced today:

Chainsaw Man Gets A New Trailer, a New Opening, and Twelve Different Ending Themes

Today was the Livestreamed World Premiere Chainsaw Man Event held by MAPPA, and new information was released regarding the Opening and Ending Theme Artists. There will be Twelve artists performing different ending themes for each episode. Also included in the announcement were new cast members for the upcoming series. Kenshi Yonezu will perform the opening theme, “KICK BACK,” and listed below are the artists that will be performing the ending themes (Note: The order does not reflect which song will be performed in each episode)

  • “HAWATARI NIKU CENTI (“2-hundred-million-centimeter-long blades”) by MAXIMUM THE HORMONE (will also be used as an insert song)
  • “ALL KINDS OF KISSES” by ano
  • “Fight Song” by eve
  • “Deep Down” by Aimer
  • “Rendezvous” by Kanaria
  • “In the Back Room” by syudou
  • “Violence” by QUEEN BEE

Crunchyroll announces English Dub Cast and Crew for upcoming Chainsaw Man Series

With the premiere of the first dubbed episode weeks away, Crunchyroll announced the new English Dub Main Cast and debuted a new trailer to give fans a taste of what they can expect at the premiere at New York Comic Con, happening on October 7th. Mike McFarland will be serving as ADR Director.
