This is it. One more month!” The mantra has carried plenty of fans through the years of waiting for an anime adaption or continuation of a manga, but this time it is the mantra that has carried us onto today’s news.

According to Crunchyroll, the official website for the upcoming anime adaption of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man manga will begin its broadcast on October 11th. A special on-stage event will also be hosted by MAPPA from the Chainsaw Man World Premiere in Japan on September 19th.

The stream starts at 8 PM JST and will feature four main cast members, and Director Ryu Nakayama and some “major news” will be announced during the speech portion. A YouTube premiere page for the Chainsaw Man event has already been launched. (PLEASE NOTE: The First Episode will not be part of the public Livestream event.)

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018, and ended its “first part,” the “Kōan” (Public Safety) arc, in December 2020. The manga made its return with its second part titled “Gakkō-hen” (School Arc) on Shonen Jump+. The Final Volume for Part One is available on Viz Media and Shueisha’s Manga Plus app (and it is part of the ‘First Read Free’ Campaign!)
