It was something no one expected, well, maybe not me, but we’re getting a combination that is its first time in Manga History. Publishing Companies, Shueisha and Shogakukan will be including One Piece’s Luffy and Case Closed’s Conan for a special combination cover!
The covers are celebrating the equally historic interview between One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda, and Case Closed creator Gosho Aoyama, who are coming together to discuss the ins and outs of being the most prolific manga creators of all time. The first half of the interview will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 25th, while the second half will be published in Weekly Shonen Sunday on July 27th.
Eiichiro Oda recently shared a message ahead of the series’ return to Shonen Jump, next week. The one-month break was for time to prepare for the 25th anniversary of the serialization and the release of the forthcoming new anime feature film ONE PIECE FILM RED.
