The Official Website for the newest stage show Dr.STONE The Stage ~Science World~ unveiled a new key visual and a teaser PV introducing the main cast visuals.
It is also confirmed that 24-year-old Tsubasa Kizu, best known as Takemichi Hanagaki in the Tokyo Revengers stage play series, is cast as the protagonist Senku Ishigami. Under the concept of “Fun for parents and children,” Dr.STONE THE STAGE ~SCIENCE WORLD~ is set to be performed at the Sunshine Theater in Tokyo from July 9th to 18th, 2022, then at AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe in Hyogo from July 21st to 24th. General sales of the tickets will begin on June 25th.
The Stage play is an adaption of the popular manga series written by Riichirou Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. Which was launched in March 2017 in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine and it ended on March 7th.
The series spawned many spin-offs and two completed TV anime seasons, with a third on the way, as well as Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI, which is set to premiere in July. The first two seasons are streaming on Crunchyroll. The manga will get a new chapter in Weekly Shonen Jump around the same time the Ryusui Special premieres.
