Yesterday, Toho Animation live-streamed a special event for the new sea-faring one-hour special Dr. STONE– RYUSUI. Also released recently were a new trailer and a key visual.
While the special premieres on July 10th on Japanese Television, the summer will be a scientific adventure! A collaboration with the National Museum of Nature and Science in Tokyo was also revealed, which will include a mini-exhibition of Senku and Gen character audio guides, themed goods, and more from June 21st to September 4th.
Another event happening this summer is the new stage play, Dr.STONE THE STAGE ~SCIENCE WORLD~ is set to be performed at the Sunshine Theater in Tokyo from July 9th to 18th, 2022, then at AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe in Hyogo from July 21st to 24th. General sales of the tickets will begin on June 25th.
Meanwhile, also included in the stream were a special festival visual, and themed goods. The official Twitter account for the manga also confirmed that the manga will also be getting an extra one-shot chapter in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 31, which is set to be released in stores in Japan on July 4th.
