The Doctor has made his final rounds, Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi‘s popular science manga, DR. Stone has reached the end of its journey in this year’s Fourteenth issue of Weekly Shonen Jump from Shueisha, the thirteenth issue teased fans of the manga’s upcoming climax in the next issue.
The popular science series started on March 6th, 2017, in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, written by Riichiro Inagaki, and illustrated by Boichi. The series has been collected in Twenty-Five Tankobon volumes as of March 4th, 2022, the Twenty-Sixth volume is scheduled to be released on July 4th. The series is available to read on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump and Shueisha’s Manga Plus, if you haven’t had a chance to catch up on the series, Manga Plus has a special promotion for their Third Anniversary that will be running through January 2023.
The series spawned many spin-offs and two completed TV anime seasons, with a third on the way, as well as Dr. STONE Special Episode – RYUSUI, which is set to premiere this summer. The first two seasons are streaming on Crunchyroll. The manga will get a new chapter in Weekly Shonen Jump around the same time the Ryusui Special premieres.
