Kazuya’s Girlfriend Woes are making a comeback in Rent-A-Girlfriend’s Second Season, coming July 2022

Kazuya’s crazy antics and his Girlfriend Troubles are coming back to Japanese Television as the long-awaited second season of the Rent-A-Girlfriend anime series is set to return in July 2022.

Adapted from the manga series created by Reiji Miyajima, it has been confirmed that the cast and staff from the first season will be returning for the Second Season, a new teaser trailer, and a visual drawn by the Animation Director/Character Designer Kanna Hirayama to highlight the new upcoming season.

Series Creator, Reiji Miyajima drew a new shikishi of Chizuru to celebrate the continuation of the anime series, in December, the Rent-A-Girlfriend Manga Series reached a new sales record, exceeding exceeded 10 million copies printed (physically) and sold (digitally).

The Rent-A-Girlfriend Manga Series is currently published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Sunday Magazine as of July 2017 and is collected into 25 Tankōbon Volumes as of February 17th, 2022. This series was picked up by Kodansha Comics for the English Version, it is currently on its 11th Volume and will be available on March 15th, 2022. It was so successful that the series had a spin-off manga published “Rent-A-(REALLY SHY!)-Girlfriend” that focuses on Sumi Sakurasawa, the manga was first published on November 9th, 2021, and its second volume recently went on sale on January 11th, 2022.

The First Season of the Anime Series is currently streaming on Crunchyroll and is available to purchase on Blu-Ray. Also, don’t forget about the series will be getting a TCG series, thanks to Bushiroad and the Weiss Schwarz Trading Card Game Line.
