Reiji Miyajima, the creator of the successful Romantic Comedy Manga Series, “Rent-A-Girlfriend” revealed on April 2nd that his Manga Series has exceeded 8 Million Copies, to celebrate the occasion, the Mangaka drew a beautiful illustration of the leading female lead, Chizuru thanking the fans.
The Manga is currently on its Twentieth Volume in Japan, while Kodansha will be releasing the Sixth Volume on April 6th in the U.S. while the company will also be releasing the spin-off series “Rent-A- (Really Shy!) Girlfriend” which the first volume will be coming soon, but it a preview will be available to read at this year’s FCBD (Free Comic Book Day) on August 14th, 2021.
The manga was adapted into a Television Anime and it will be getting a Second Season in 2022. The series was nominated for two awards at the Anime Awards, one for Best Girl (Chizuru) and Best Couple (Chizuru and Kazuya).
