It is officially June and also officially part of Pride Month where we celebrate LGBTQIA+ visibility and a personal celebration of self-worth and dignity. Also, to celebrate the contributions made by LGBTQIA+, this was the same month of the Stonewall Uprising in New York in 1969, more information of that day can be found here. Red’s Nerd Den salutes and honors the artists and creators of the LGBTQIA+ Community. We need to continue to stand up for what is right and continue to show the importance of representation, it has come a long way and there have been incredible improvements along the way.
