It was a star-studded night at London’s Wembley Stadium, packed with high-flying action, title changes, and new beginnings. But the moment that stood out belonged to the now-former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega (ケニー・オメガ), who channeled All Might from My Hero Academia in an unforgettable entrance, thanks to Crunchyroll and Seiyuu Kenta Miyake.
The entrance featured an incredible promotional video highlighting Omega’s career, complete with special narration by All Might’s voice actor Kenta Miyake and set to the iconic song “You Say Run” from the My Hero Academia anime. Kenny also stepped into the ring against challenger Will Ospreay in All Might-themed gear.
The former champion shared a post on social media to show off his All Might-themed gear. He passed the torch to Ospreay, while thanking My Hero Academia, Crunchyroll and Kenta Miyake for allowing him to represent All Might. My Hero Academia (僕のヒーローアカデミア) was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from July 2014 to August 2024, with its chapters collected into 42 tankōbon volumes. Viz Media publishes the manga for English audiences both digitally and in print in North America, while Shueisha’s Manga Plus also makes the chapters available digitally in English. The series has inspired several manga spin-offs (My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Team-Up Missions, and the gag series Smash!!), a light novel series (School Briefs), and a television anime adaptation that ran for eight seasons (2016–2025), along with additional specials released in 2026.
