Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter is finally here and Shueisha is celebrating its return in style in this year’s 31st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. Speaking of celebrations, the manga series has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation (including digital). This was timed with the upcoming volume, which will be released in Japan on July 3rd.

A special event will be taking place in Tokyo’s Shibuya District called Shibuya Hunter Street! The event will begin on Monday, June 29th at 9 am JST. It will feature 115 character street ads that fans must locate using the series’ “Gyo” (凝) Nen technique theme, and participants will have to use the QR code to unlock on the official event website. Participants can share their finds on Twitter with special hashtags for a chance to win prizes like special stickers, while remote fans access digital bonuses, tying into the manga’s Nen and hunting motifs for the milestone celebration. The event will end on July 5, 2026, 23:59 JST.
The new chapter is available to read now on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump app and Shueisha’s Digital Manga Platform, Manga Plus.
AD: Available now from Banpesto: Hunter x Hunter’s Neferpitou, Vibration Stars Figure!
