Following its conclusion, the second part — the School Arc (学校編), also referred to as the Academy Saga — began serialization on Shueisha’s digital platform Shōnen Jump+ on July 13th, 2022, and concluded on March 25th, 2026. The series was adapted into an anime television series by studio MAPPA, which aired from October to December 2022. It was followed by the theatrical anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc (released in Japan in September 2025), which continues the story directly from the first season. Additionally, Chainsaw Man has inspired a popular stage play adaptation. The first run premiered in 2023, with a second production — Chainsaw Man The Stage: Reze Arc — scheduled for performances in Tokyo and Kyoto in July–August 2026. Viz Media licenses the manga for English-language release in North America, the anime, first stage play, and Chainsaw Man – The Movie:  Reze Arc are available to stream on Crunchyroll.
