Ultraman: The Final Season will premiere in May 2023

In February, we got a glimpse into the final season of the hit anime series ULTRAMAN. A month later, it has been confirmed to premiere in May 2023.

According to a new press release from Tsuburaya Productions, the final season is set to stream exclusively worldwide on Netflix on May 11th, 2023. It has been upgraded from the previous season and will consist of twelve episodes. All of which will be simultaneously released worldwide.

Also, several new pictures were released, which included the return of a former colleague from Hayata’s days in the SSSP (Science Special Search Party), Daisuke Arashi, a sharpshooter who has defeated aliens and monsters. His last battle was with Zetton, taking it down with a Zero Gravity Bullet. Hideaki Tezuka will take on the role of Daisuke.

The Final Season sees the return of Co-Directors, Kenji Kamiyama, director of the STAND ALONE COMPLEX series, and Shinji Aramaki, creator of APPLESEED, with animation co-produced by Production I.G and SOLA DIGITAL ARTS. With the final season set to premiere in Spring, both seasons are available on Netflix. The Ultraman 3DCG Anime Series is adapted from the Ultraman manga series by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi.

Available now, is the newest volume of the Ultraman Manga Series in Japan. Meanwhile, Viz Media publishes manga for English Audiences. Volume Eighteen will go on sale on April 18th, 2023.
