With the popularity of Soccer Anime right now, thanks to amazing stories such as Blue Lock and Aoashi, we’re seeing the return of a familiar sports hero returning to the soccer field, and that’s Tsubasa Oozora.
The anime series based on Yoichi Takahashi’s internationally renowned sports manga Captain Tsubasa is making another comeback. It will be a sequel to the fourth anime series that aired in 2018-2019.
Captain Tsubasa has been adapted into four television anime series, 14 OVAs, and four films in its vast history. The upcoming series will serve as the second season of the fourth tv anime series focusing on the Junior Youth Arc from the manga. It is set at an international junior youth tournament held in France. Here is a list of the Main Cast and Staff that has been announced so far:

Crunchyroll has the exclusive comments from Tsubasa’s Seiyuu Yuko Sanpei, who shared her excitement about returning for another season and the show’s return. Variety also announced that Viz Media has made its move on a deal for digital streaming, TV, electronic sell-thru, home video, and merchandise rights for North and Latin American territories. Captain Tsubasa Season 2: Junior Youth Arc is set to premiere in October 2023 on TV Tokyo.
