Resident Evil: Vendetta Gets a New Sequel, Resident Evil: Death Island

Alcatraz Island is considered to be one of the toughest prisons in America. Due to its representation in Hollywood. From 1934 to 1963, it served as a Federal Prison that housed some of the most dangerous civilian prisoners. Now, it is housing the most horrific creatures with Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy having to investigate in the new CG Film, Resident Evil: Death Island.

Sony Pictures Entertainment recently streamed a new teaser trailer for a new CG Film in Capcom’s Resident Evil Game Series, Resident Evil: Death Island. It is a sequel to the 2017 film Resident Evil Vendetta. In the teaser trailer, we see familiar B.O.W.s and the return of three fan-favorite characters, Chris Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy, and making her first appearance in the Resident Evil Animated Film Series, Jill Valentine!

Eiichiro Hasumi (Resident Evil Infinite Darkness, Assassination Classroom (Live-Action) ) will be directing the film, with Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass) will be writing the screenplay. Resident Evil Death Island will be released in the Summer of 2023.

D.S.O. agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers, when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, B.S.A.A. agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all visited Alcatraz Island recently. Following that clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.
