My Hero Academia Prepares For The Infamous “Dabi Dance” Episode With A Brand New Visual

This weekend will be the episode premiere that My Hero Academia fans have been waiting for. “Dabi Dance” adapted the chapter from Kōhei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia Manga when it debuted in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine.

It was one of the most shocking moments in My Hero Academia. When Dabi, would make the stunning announcement that he was Toya Todoroki, the long-lost eldest son of Endeavor. Fans can re-read this thrilling chapter on Viz Media’s Shonen Jump App, and Shueisha’s Manga Plus app, which is part of their Free Read Campaign. Also, available in My Hero Academia Vol. 30!

Dabi Voice Actor, Hiro Shimono, commented about the upcoming episode saying that he was able to finally show the emotion that he has been holding back for the role, also mentioning that he felt like he was performing on stage and acting with his body for the whole episode.

The anime premiered on October 1st. The season will air for two continuous cours (quarter of a year) for a total of 25 episodes. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and it is also streaming an English dub.

The new season adapts the “Paranormal Liberation War” arc of Kōhei Horikoshi’s original manga, which features an all-out war between heroes and villains. SUPER BEAVER performs the opening theme song “Hitamuki,” and Kiro Akiyama performs the ending theme song “SKETCH.”
