During a special Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba program in Japan that followed a rebroadcast of the Mugen Train film, it was revealed that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc would premiere in April 2023.
The new season is set to premiere on Fuji TV, with the first episode being a one-hour special. If you recall, in February, the staff at Ufotable, and the cast would be returning to reprise their roles.
But that’s not all, it also has been confirmed that there will be a World Tour, that will be featuring a feature-length cut of Episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc and the extended Episode 1 of the upcoming Swordsmith Village Arc in 4K with remastered audio, which will premiere as part of a world tour and a later theatrical release.
The World Tour will have a red carpet premiere in Los Angeles on February 18th at the Orpheum Theatre, featuring the appearance of Tanjiro’s voice actor, Natsuki Hanae, Aniplex Producer Yuma Takahashi, and a performance by Aimer. Tickets for the event will go on sale on January 7th on Ticketmaster.
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- will then head to theaters in the United States and Canada on Friday, March 3rd with both English subtitles and English dub versions.
- The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour will begin with a two-day event in Tokyo, followed by events in Los Angeles, Paris, Berlin, Mexico City, Seoul and Taipei.
