Whether you like it or not, the new season of the tv anime series based on Bkub Okawa’s Pop Team Epic is coming back on October 1st, 2022. The newest promotional video featured voice actors Nana Mizuki, Sho Hayami, and Sora Tokui, all of whom play the role of Popuko, discussing the nature of voice acting through serious interviews.
The video titled “To You, Who Aspire To Be A Voice Actor” has the voice actors answering serious questions about the nature of voice acting while juxtaposed against the ridiculous things their characters do in the series.
The second season will be directed and written by Jun Aoki (Gal & Dino) at studios Kamikaze Doga and Space Neko Company and star an ever-changing myriad of voice actors as its chaotic protagonists.
The original Pop Team Epic manga is serialized in Takeshobo’s Manga Life Win manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Vertical. The First season and the POP TEAM EPIC REPEAT (Remixed Version) is available on Crunchyroll.
