Our boys from Shohoku High are back in a Brand New Promotional Campaign for the newest Slam Dunk film, The First Slam Dunk.
Sports stores located in Shibuya, and Harajuku Japan brought a very unique collaboration. The new visuals for the film were printed on old flooring from Japanese School Gymnasiums!
In the new campaign, five printed visuals of No. 7 Ryota Miyagi (White Atelier BY CONVERSE, Harajuku Japan), No. 14 Mitsu Hisashi (Asics Harajuku Flagship Store, Shibuya City, Tokyo), No. 11 Kaede Rukawa (TOKYO 23) No. 10 Hanamichi Sakuragi (NIKE HARAJUKU), and No. 4 Takenori Akagi (CONVERSE TOKYO Shibuya Store). The New Promotion went up today, but there isn’t an end date announced at this time for the campaign. The film will premiere in Japan on December 3rd.
You can watch the original anime on Crunchyroll. The anime series was adapted from the manga series created by Takehiko Inoue. The Slam Dunk Manga Series made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in October 1990 and ran until June 1996, consisting of 31 Manga Volumes, an anime series with four seasons, four animated films, and video games.
