Okay, here we are, San Diego Comic-Con is here and today, we’re going to be looking at the biggest announcements so far.

Fans have been waiting to hear news about several shows, such as Amazon’s Lord of the Rings, and HBO’s Game of Thrones Spin-Off Series, House of Dragon. And Comic Book News from publishers such as Marvel, and DC Comics, to dig into as the convention progresses. Keep in mind, that we’ll be sharing summaries of the panels and links to the proper news stories.

Paramount Pictures Rolls for Initiative, as Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Gets Its First Trailer And Visual.

Heists, Dragons, and Owlbears, Oh my! Paramount Pictures has taken over as the Game Master for the newest Live-Action Adaption of the Legendary Tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons. The title of this new film is Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and it is bringing actors, Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant together for an incredible journey!

Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley will be directing the film. Daley teased that the film will have a “very unique brand of humor that sets us apart from anyone in the fantasy world” and will feature “dozens, and dozens of monsters in this movie, and dozens and dozens of spells” that are all true to the extensive D&D lore. Daley also mentioned that D&D isn’t just a game, it’s “about the feeling when playing the game and that’s what we tried to bring to the film.” The movie will premiere in theaters on March 3rd, 2023. I know what most of you are thinking, “Oh No, Not Another Reboot!” I’m sorry, but it’s true. Disney Plus will be making an original series that is a reboot of the Nicholas Cage Movie Series, titled National Treasure: Edge of History. It will be focusing on a brand new treasure hunter named Jess Morales (Lisette Alexis), who, according to IGN, is a resourceful young treasure hunter who sets off on the adventure of a lifetime to find out more about her own family’s mysterious past, as well as save a lost Pan-American treasure. Additionally, Harvey Keitel will reprise the role of Peter Sadusky from the original movies, alongside Justin Bartha, who will return as a fan favorite, Riley Poole. Sarah Michelle Gellar joins the Teen Wolf Spin-Off Series, Wolf Pack.

While the announcement and teaser trailer for the new Teen Wolf Movie took fans by surprise. It was Sarah Michelle Gellar’s presence, and new role in the upcoming Teen Wolf Spin-Off Series titled Wolf Pack that has stunned the fans.

It’s true, the Vampire Hunter has a STAKE in this new series, (Wait, put down those tomatoes!) Gellar will not only be joining the cast of Wolf Pack but will also be an Executive Producer. According to Deadline, Gellar stars as arson Investigator Kristin Ramsey, a highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss brought in by authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started a massive wildfire which may have also led to the reawakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.

Written and executive produced by Teen Wolf developer/executive producer Davis, Wolf Pack is based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom. It follows a teenage boy (Armani Jackson) and a girl (Bella Shepard) whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Set Phasers to “Wow!” William Shatner joins Netflix and Mattel’s Masters of The Universe: Revolution!

Star-Trek’s William Shatner finds himself teleported to a world of Fantasy and Sorcery in the upcoming sequel of the earlier series, Masters of the Universe: Revelation. According to IGN, he was revealed during the franchise’s San Diego Comic-Con panel, Shatner was the first new actor confirmed for what’s presumed to be a sequel to last year’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Again, there isn’t much information to go with on this new sequel, other than what was reported during Netflix’s Geeked Week. More information will be announced on Friday.
