The Animation Division of Netflix has been taking quite a hit with the recent situation of its subscriber drop. But during an announcement regarding the Kids Animated Series Slate, John Derderian, the Vice President of Netflix’s Animated Series Division shared his excitement about bringing new episodes of fan favorites such as The Cuphead Show! Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and new shows such as Daniel Spellbound, My Dad the Bounty Hunter, and Dead End: Paranormal Park to their streaming service, but our main focus is on Sonic’s return to the Animated Series genre.
Here’s what we know about Sonic Prime so far. The Writer Collective, Man of Action Entertainment is serving as showrunners and executive producers. Sega and WildBrain are both teaming up for production, distribution, and licensing. Sonic Prime will consist of 24 Episodes, during last year’s Sonic Central, Man of Action Entertainment offered a brief update on the new series while promising to bring fans something they have never seen.
Yesterday, Netflix revealed the first look teaser for the new series. Including the cast list, which includes the new Sonic voice actor.
