Update: Sayonara Eri has been released on Manga Plus and Viz Media’s Shonen Jump App, Available to read for English Audiences.
Ever since the end of the first arc of Chainsaw Man, fans have been eagerly awaiting new information on the next Chainsaw Man Arc ‘Gakkō-hen’ (School Arc), which is scheduled to be released in Q3 2022 on Jump+. Last week, Jump+ Editor Shihei Lin teased a new One-Shot by Tatsuki Fujimoto, which consisted of 200 pages that would be released soon.
Fast forward to today, Shihei Lin shared new information on the new One-Shot along with a new visual. The One-Shot titled ‘Sayonara Eri‘ will be released at midnight on Shueisha’s Jump+ App on April 11th.
His last one-shot, Look Back was considered to be Shonen Jump Plus’s Most Popular One-Shot in its history, reaching over 4 million reads on the digital manga platform in just two days in Japan and winning numerous awards which included topping the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! survey. Look Back is set to be released in the US in Fall 2022, thanks to a new licensing deal from Viz Media.
