Hanma Baki- Son of Ogre picks up a Second Season, Including a First Look at Pickle

Netflix Japan Anime and the Official Baki Anime website have confirmed that Hanma Baki-Son of Ogre has been given the Greenlight for a Second Season and it is currently in the works. The next chapter of the series will focus on the primitive fighter, Pickle.

The first season was released on September 30th, 2021, the series was also adapted from the third installment of Keisuke Itagaki’s longest-running Martial Arts Manga, Baki. Also, a reminder for Baki fans, the “30th Anniversary Commemorative The Earth’s Strongest Baki Exhibition! in Tokyo Dome City” at the Tokyo Dome City’s Gallery AaMo, is still going on, it will continue until April 17th, 2022.

The story finally unfolds into a full-blooded clash between Baki Hanma and his father, Yujiro Hanma, who is known as the “strongest creature on earth.” The climax of the Baki universe, which depicted the “strongest parent-child brawl in history of the world” in the original manga, has been adapted into the long-awaited anime!
