Better get ready, the world of NieR:Automata is coming back in a brand new anime series. That’s right, the announcement for the new series was made on Social Media with a teaser promotional video.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any other details to go with, no start date, staff list, just an In-Production Sketch and that is it for now. The original NieR:Automata game came out on the PlayStation 4 in Japan on February 23rd, 2017, with North America following on March 7th and PAL regions on March 10th. It was eventually released on PC on March 17th, 2017, and then the Xbox One on June 26th, 2018, selling more than 5.5 million copies over all the versions. It was directed by Yoko Taro and follows 2B and 9S as they battle a mechanical invasion alongside the Resistance. Let’s not forget the collaboration in 2019, between Final Fantasy XIV and the Nier Series Directors Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro, called YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse Alliance, it included a raid called, The Copied Factory.
