Following up on December’s Tsuburaya Con Special Program, the Second Season of Tsuburaya Production, and Netflix’s Ultraman, it will be set to premiere on April 14th, 2022.

Along with the release date, there was a new visual, a trailer, and an addition to the cast, actress Maaya Sakamoto will be voicing Izumi, a journalist, who is Kotaro Higashi’s girlfriend who lives in America. She was entrusted with Kotaro’s SLR camera, containing evidence he took of the “disappearance incident.” She delivers it to the SSSP, and that changes her destiny forever, according to a description of the new character from Tsuburaya Production. Also joining the cast will be Tomoaki Maeno, taking over the role of Kotaro Higashi, who originally was going to be voiced by actor Tatsuhisa Suzuki, who stepped down due to taking a leave of absence.
Performing the Ultraman Season Two Theme will be NOILION, performing their debut single “3”, ahead of the Season Two will be an event involving the Premium Orchestra Concert of Season One, a table-read of the script with the original authors, and more!
Tsuburaya Productions has confirmed that it will consist of six episodes and provided a synopsis:
“A global mass disappearing event takes place among humanity. Rena and Shinjiro simultaneously vanish.
In the wake of these events, freelance journalist Kotaro Higashi investigates this mysterious “disappearance incident.”
The aliens behind it are the terrorist organization Dark Star. They transmit a message to those on Earth. “Give us half of the Earth, or sacrifice half of its people… make your choice”
At the same time, the recently disappeared Rena and Shinjiro are teleported to the Dark Star ship orbiting the Earth. Learning too much, Kotaro is caught in the crossfire between Dark Star and the SSSP, and is almost left for dead….
In the final battle, our heroes face off against the Golden Fortress. Facing this giant mecha destroying the city, ULTRAMAN, SEVEN, and TARO is joined by ZOFFY, JACK, and ACE.
At long last the 6 ULTRAMAN heroes have assembled!“

Hailing all the way from Nebula M78, Ultraman joins the One:12 Collective!
Ultraman is outfitted in a combat suit powered by his Ultraman Factor, and features a light-up Color Timer on his chest. He comes with two light-up head portraits including a Fluoroscope Ray portrait, known for de-cloaking and destroying!
Ultraman comes complete with a range of attack FX including a Specium Ray hand FX, an Ultra Slash FX, and an Ultra Attack Ray FX which fits over his arm. The Jet VTOL, the main vehicle of Science Special Search-Party, is also included and can be held by Ultraman.
