Metroid Celebrates its 35th Anniversary with New Dread Teaser

August 6th, 1986, Metroid makes its debut in Japan on theFamicom Disk System. A year later it makes its debut in the West on the NES. Nintendo celebrates the 35th Anniversary of Metroid with a brand new teaser for the upcoming video game in its Series, Metroid Dread. The video game is set to launch on October 8th, 2021, also to celebrate the anniversary, Nintendo tweeted some facts and original character artwork:
Launched on the NES in 1987 in North America, Metroid is the first adventure featuring the bounty hunter Samus Aran. She explores Planet Zebes while battling Space Pirates who are attempting to weaponize a newly discovered lifeform known as a Metroid. #MetroidDreadpic.twitter.com/HRLQ4o1asY
