Platinum End is coming to Crunchyroll

During yesterday’s Comic-Con@Home Industry Panel, it has been confirmed by Crunchyroll that Platinum End’s Anime Adaption will be coming to their streaming service. From writer Tsugumi Ohba and artist Takeshi Obata, the creative duo behind Death NoteBakuman, Platinum End is about a man named Kakehashi Mirai, who lost his parents in a tragic accident and was taken in by his relatives. Having lost hope, he decides to end it all and jump off the roof of his middle school during his graduation but suddenly he meets an angel. Now Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle in which the winner becomes the next god of the world. Mirai has an angel in his corner, but he may need to become a devil to survive.

While it doesn’t have a date set in stone for the U.S. debut, it will be debuting in Japan on TBS and several other channels this fall, uninterrupted, and will have 24 episodes to adapt the manga’s story. Meanwhile, while also on Crunchyroll it will be available in the following Territories: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
