Video Game Publisher SEGA has announced plans of releasing Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles in North America and Europe. CyberConnect2 (known for their work with the .Hack game series and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Series) teamed with Sega to develop this action game based on the highly successful Demon Slayer Franchise, which is set to debut October 15th.
The Hinokami Chronicles will be available both physically and digitally for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam. Also, the price for a standard edition will be for $59.99 and a Digital Deluxe Edition for $69.99. The standard edition packs the game with a character unlock key for Demon Slayer Academy Tanjiro Kamado, and all launch period digital purchases pack in unlocks for Demon Slayer Academy Giyu Tomioka and Demon Slayer Academy Shinobu Kocho.
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes character unlock keys for Demon Slayer Academy Tanjiro Kamado, Demon Slayer Academy Nezuko Kamado, Demon Slayer Academy Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Demon Slayer Academy Inosuke Hashibira; the in-game costume “Butterfly Mansion Patient Wear” for Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira; 8,000 Slayer Points; and early access to the game on October 13th, while it releases in Japan on October 14th.
