It’s that time of the year again, San Diego Comic-Con’s Eisner Award Nominees have been announced for this year, and it looks to be quite a spectacular event, in the Best U.S. Edition of International Material — Asia category is full of manga talent, Tatsuya Endo’s Spy X Family Volumes One Through Three is on the list, Junji Ito making it on the list again with two nominations this time, with Remina and for Best Artist and Writer for both Remina and Venus in the Blind Spot. If you recall in 2019, Junji Ito won in the “Best Adaption from Another Medium” category for his adaption of the classic horror story written by Mary Shelly called Frankenstein.
