Spy x Family Volume One Cover

It certainly is a good time to be a Manga Reader and Collector, Four or Five Weeks ago Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man Volume One made its New York Times Best Seller List Debut at No. 8, now the Second and Fourth volumes have both made their way onto the list this month, Volume Two took No.9 and Volume Four took No. 8. Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia Vol. 27 took No. 5, the series continues its reign on the List.

Meanwhile, several back volumes of Manga have appeared on the list, including the first volume of the Hit-Action/Comedy Manga by Tatsuya Endo, Spy x Family took No. 15, a first appearance on the Best Seller List for Graphic Novels and Manga. The other back titles were Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba Volumes One and Two, Chainsaw Man Volume Two, and Spy x Family Volume One.

Another thing I would like to point out that last month’s Best Seller List was heavily dominated by Dav Pilkey’s Dog-Man Series, Kids Titles have been doing well despite the challenges with COVID-19 Pandemic, ICv2’s Milton Griepp pointed out that Kids titles have accounted for Nearly One-Third of the 2020 Graphic Novels Sales, included in the success for sales were Manga.
