While this spin-off has a handful of OVA Episodes (speaking of which, will be premiering on Netflix in 2021,) this three-part Live-Action Series will be premiering on NHK later this month, Issei Takahashi (Seiji Amasawa in Ghibli’s Whisper of the Heart, Takashi Hayashida in the live-action March comes in like a lion) is playing the title role in this version, the new trailer is narrated by Takahiro Sakurai (Griffith in Berserk, Reigen in Mob Psycho 100), who provides the anime voice for Rohan.

The first episode will focus on the “Fugō Mara” story where Rohan is dragged into an incident that happens at a Millionaire’s Mansion. Meanwhile, the second episode is focusing on the “Kushagara” short story by Ballad Kitaguni in the novel spin-offs where Rohan receives a strange request from a fellow Mangaka Jugo Shishi. The third episode will focus on an original story “D.N.A.” where Rohan is investigating his editor’s memory loss through hypnosis.
