Crunchyroll and Webtoons team to co-produce new animated content

It was announced today that Digital Comic Publisher Webtoons will be teaming up with Crunchyroll to produce new animated content and with Webtoons expansive catalog of properties, and according to Crunchyroll both Companies will team up and handle the distribution, licensing and retail of each new series.

Crunchyroll’s General Manager Joanne Waage had this to say regarding the new partnership:
