Ever since Endgame fans have been curious to know what the Russo Bros. would do next, now Comic-Con rolls in and we finally get that answer; the Russos will be handling two new projects! Will be producers of First Comics’ Grimjack and the Anime Classic Science Ninja Team Gatchaman or known by the American adaption Battle of the Planets.

Grimjack is a story about a mercenary and his crew forced to dig into their pasts when Grimjack’s estranged daughter comes to him looking for help. Taking them through the insane streets of Cynosure, a mysterious city where all parallel universes intersect. There, this unlikely team fights to save not just themselves, but all the planes of existence. The series was created in 1983 by John Ostrander and Tim Truman, here is what is known about the new Amazon series; it is being created by AGBO, Halfire and being written by Kevin Murphy, the creator of Defiance, Heathers the Musical and Reefer Madness.
Known to many by either as the Science Ninja Team Gatchaman or the Battle of the Planets, but if you haven’t heard of this team then I’ll walk you through this; the series centers around five teenagers who are Super Ninja and they are employed by a man named Kōzaburō Nambu of the International Science Organization to oppose an international terrorist organization of technologically advanced villains such known as Galactor who are trying to control Earth’s natural resources. Now, what we know about this series so far is that the Russo Bros might be directing this, they mentioned: “If we were to make it, it would be a live-action film.” No writer has been confirmed yet.
