Crunchyroll, Adult Swim announce Toonami partnership with distribution deal.

Straight from the Anime News Network, it was announced today that Adult Swim and Crunchyroll made a programming partnership and expanded distribution deal on Tuesday, Crunchyroll will now be a “premiere content partner” for Adult Swim’s Toonami block which airs on Saturday nights.

Crunchyroll General Manager Joanne Waage noted that the company’s “mission to grow anime globally” and the Adult Swim partnership will help further the goal because “Toonami has always been incredibly influential in the growth of anime here in the US.”
