Hell’s Kitchen Unleashed: Aleks Le Proves the Devil Is in the Details with Daredevil: DAMNED

Aleks Le is a performer of many talents that spans from voice acting and streaming to content creation. Now Le is expanding his creative horizons even further by starring, directing, and producing a new live-action short titled DareDevil: DAMNED, a thrilling new live-action short that brings the Man Without Fear to life with unmatched passion.

Daredevil has always been a fan favorite character, whether it be in the pages of comic books, on his soon-to-be ending streaming series Daredevil: Born Again. His popularity would reach new heights when he joined the cast of NetEase’s Marvel Rivals last year.

A Celebration turned into a Breathtaking Tribute

To mark his one-year anniversary as the voice of Daredevil in Marvel Rivals, Aleks Le created a live-action short film as a personal tribute to the character. According to the actor, the project took roughly 10 months to complete and required five months of training in martial arts, boxing, and stunts, allowing him to write, produce, and direct the film himself. Since the short’s debut nine days ago, it has already reached over 1 million views.

While DAREDEVIL: DAMNED was driven by Aleks Le’s personal vision—he was quick to credit the small team that helped him bring the vision to life. Key collaborators include digital artists such as NORTFX, who designed the promotional posters along with additional poster and promo contributions from artists such as Aziz Mbye. The project also relied on a dedicated group of fabricators, stunt performers, and crew members who supported Le’s original suit design and the film’s action sequences. On costume design, the concepts were brought to life by Illustrator, Margaret Dyan and translated into 3D by AegidiusDesigns & crafted by ParallelLife Studios.

Along with crediting his team, Le also gave a shout out to Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, the stars of the Netflix Daredevil series and Disney+’s Born Again. He said their performances inspired him to start acting and meant a great deal to him. He also emphasized that he doesn’t want to be an On-Camera actor, just mocap for games.

Daredevil was created by Stan Lee and artist Bill Everett, with input by Jack Kirby. Daredevil made his debut in DareDevil Issue No. 1 in April 1964, and has long stood out as a landmark figure for disability representation in superhero fiction. Frank Miller’s iconic 1980s run transformed the blind vigilante into one of Marvel’s most complex and gritty heroes, paving the way for decades of celebrated comic arcs and successful screen adaptations. From his landmark comic issues to critically acclaimed live-action, animated, and video game appearances, ‘The Man Without Fear‘ remains one of Marvel’s most enduring and versatile characters.
