Addressing the Art and Website Delays

Hello Den Lurkers and Readers. I wanted to take a moment to explain why there have been so many delays recently. It comes down to my offline work as a caregiver and why I am having to ask for help.

About a week ago, my father had a mini-stroke and spent several days in the hospital. He is now home recovering. A few days later, my mother was admitted for a severe infection; she is also home and recovering. Because of the increased caregiving duties at home while helping them both, I haven’t been able to work on art or post updates for the past few weeks.

Financial Strain, and Help Needed.

The increased caregiving schedule has also put more financial strain on me. Over the past few months I’ve tried to make ends meet by offering commissions on social media, but the constantly changing schedule meant I had to cut back on what I could offer or simply ask for donations. Right now I’m trying to raise $200 by September 10th to cover my phone and internet bill. I need the service both for website work and to stay on top of my family’s medical needs.
