Bandai revealed a brand-new collaboration involving Digimon: Digital Monsters and Ultraman. The two franchises are uniting for a limited edition Digital Monster COLOR virtual pet devices to celebrate Ultraman’s 60th Anniversary.
Similar to Bandai’s collaboration with Toho’s Godzilla franchise (Digital Monster COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition in 2025), this limited edition virtual pet device offers a variety of Ultra Heroes and Ultra Kaiju to raise. You can either choose the Ultraman route or the Ultra Kaiju route, Digimon only appear as enemies in battles (not as raisable partners). (2 types in total, ¥7,700 yen each). Pre-orders are currently being accepted on the Bandai Namco Group’s official online store, “Premium Bandai,” with shipping scheduled for February 2027.
Digital Monster COLOR Device Details:
- The ULTRAMAN HENSHIN COLOR is inspired by Ultraman’s iconic Transformation Sequence.
- Both products were created in collaboration with “Digital Monster” to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the “Ultraman Series”.
- The GRAFFITI ULTRA HEROES COLOR utilizes UV printing technology to print designs inspired by Ultraman, Ultraman Tiga, and Ultraman Zero all over, creating an appearance that recreates the world of Ultraman.

An official roster hasn’t been revealed yet, a promotional sheet featured above is the most detailed clue we have to go by. More specific names should appear closer to the February 2027 release (manual, official site updates, or further previews).
Like the previously released “Digital Monster COLOR” series, this product continues to feature a color LCD screen and a built-in rechargeable battery, and allows for changes to the background design. It can be played by charging it with the included charging cable. The charging cable is compatible with USB Type-C.

An important note about this new virtual pet series, the main program used by both “ULTRAMAN HENSHIN COLOR” and “GRAFFITI ULTRA HEROES COLOR” is the same. Additionally, communication is only supported with the “Digital Monster COLOR ULTRAMAN SERIES 60th EDITION,” “Digital Monster COLOR,” and “Digimon Pendulum COLOR” series.
