Unfortunate news coming in from this year’s 32nd issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine regarding Negi Haruba’s Go, Go, Loser Ranger! (戦隊大失格) manga series. It will be going on a brief hiatus due to Haruba’s health. The series is set to resume sometime in August.
The news was also shared on Negi Haruba’s Twitter account for both Go! Go! Loser Ranger and The Quintessential Quintuplets. Fans expressed their understanding and support for the manga, noting the series rarely took breaks, even encouraging the author to rest and return in August as planned.
The other time Go! Go! Loser Ranger went on hiatus was in February, but it returned on March 18th to begin the Manga’s final story arc.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger! (戦隊大失格) was written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. This manga series serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2021, and is still ongoing. Its chapters were collected in twenty-two tankōbon volumes as of May 2026. Kodansha USA publishes the manga and simultaneously publishes its chapters for English audiences on Kodansha’s Digital Manga platform, KMANGA. Since the manga’s debut, it has inspired a tv anime adaptation (which is currently streaming on Disney Plus/Hulu), and a stage play.
