The June 2026 Nintendo Direct delivered a wave of exciting announcements and major Switch 2 news, but one moment stood above the rest: the official reveal of a full remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
Rhythm Heaven Groove:
Kicking off the Direct coverage is Rhythm Heaven Groove. The new trailer gave players a groovy new look at the upcoming Switch title, confirming that it will include over 80 rhythm games (including plenty to unlock!) Up to four players can play in over 30 multiplayer games. Rhythm Heaven Groove makes its way to Nintendo Switch on July 2nd, you can pre-order your copy now on Amazon.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is slicing its way onto the Nintendo Switch 2! Get ready for intense samurai action with exclusive Joy-Con 2 motion controls that let you swing your blade and aim with intuitive precision. Capcom confirmed the game launches September 25, 2026, simultaneously on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen
One of the big announcements was that Dragon’s Dogma 2 is getting an expansion! Dark Arisen is the same name as the popular expansion for the first game. It arrives on October 9 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. It’s available as a bundle, or as a separate expansion DLC on existing platforms.
Stellar Blade
Stellar Blade is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2! Shift Up recently announced at the Summer Game Fest that it would be getting a sequel. The only thing we know about the Switch 2 release is that it will be released sometime in 2026.
