Beast Complex was first serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine in March 2016. Viz Media licensed the series for English release in July 2020, with Volume 1 launching in print and digital on March 16, 2021. In early 2021, Itagaki returned with a short miniseries in the same magazine (January–March), which was compiled into Volumes 2 and 3, both released in 2021. The fourth volume shipped in December 2024.
