The highly anticipated series from Weekly Shonen Jump will be produced by studio Cypic (formerly Cygames Pictures) and directed by Tetsuya Takeuchi, known for his strong work on high-intensity action sequences. Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist) joins as character designer. In the voice cast, rising star Taihi Kimura will portray the protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira. Shochiku and CyberAgent are on the production committee.

Adding to the excitement, Kagurabachi will also feature a global Anime World Tour starting in Summer 2026. Fans worldwide will get an exclusive first look at the first 20 minutes of Episode 1 through special premiere screenings at events across the globe — well ahead of the official April 2027 broadcast. The tour will culminate in Japan with a grand finale: the world’s first full premiere of the complete first episode at a special event.
