Yusuke Murata Shows New Footage of Zaiyuki Project

One of the biggest surprises during the New Year’s weekend was the new footage for Yusuke Murata’s newest animated project, Zaiyuki.

Murata (One Punch Man, EyeShield 21) uploaded four new videos, which showcase new scenes involving our new protagonist, Zaiyuki, a young kappa who has a hard time fitting into the world. But surprisingly he wins a lottery with the grand prize of a package tour of India, unfortunately, he finds himself in trouble at the airport.

The project was first announced in February 2023, and Murata would be teaming up with Village Studio (Eyeshield 21) for Zaiyuki. Following up in March, the manga creator posted a two-part video with English Subtitles. It wasn’t the first time Murata was involved with this studio. In September 2021, he directed and animated a 107-second anime short of One Punch Man.
